Music Videos Receive High Marks

For years, the American Heart Association has sponsored programs geared toward elementary and middle school students to promote heart health, the lifelong benefits of physical activity and community service. This year, they were looking for new ideas that would appeal to an increasingly sophisticated youth market and that would spark enthusiasm and renewed engagement in the Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart programs. AMS Pictures delivered big-time with two outstanding videos that utilized the best aspects of kids’ natural tendencies to idolize and follow the lead of their pop star heroes. Catchy, original pop tunes delivered by up and coming Jonas Brothers/Miley Cyrus-inspired talents helped deliver the “how-to-participate” message. Poignant testimonials by real kids with heart disease drove the “why this is important” point home.

American Heart Association National Center CEO Nancy Brown told AMS Pictures “thanks for your outstanding work here – the new Jump and Hoops materials and approach will make a big difference to our relevance to kids and their families and the money we bring in from the program.” Nicole Bash, Senior Manager, New Initiatives, added “AMS Pictures did a phenomenal job on our new Youth Market videos. We relaunched both programs this year and wanted some videos that would really generate a lot of excitement and make a big impression……AMS Pictures created a product that exactly fit the bill.”

AMS Pictures is extremely proud of the Hoops for Heart and Jump Rope for Heart videos and hopes that our contribution reaps big rewards for these important outreach programs.
